no sound in Android

How to active analog sound?

I plug my speaker line in, but it seems need further settings.

Any tips?

At the moment audio under Android works only over HDMI, we know this narrow down the possibilities and we are working on it.

 

Can I get the sound out under Ubuntu OS?

 

To be more precise Android automatically connect to the first audio device found. HDMI audio is detected as first sound device and the audio onboard is the second. This is the reasons until HDMI will be connected the HDMI audio will be always used. Android, by default, doesn't have a settings to switch between multiple audio devices. I suppose it will be need to "invent" something for fix this issue...

 

It is not possible right now to change this setting using some app (likely in root mode)?

Well, as already said, the problem is Android doesn't natively allow to manage multiple sound devices than I don't know if it will be possible to switch on run time between the two devices using code. Maybe an hard workaround inside the framework could be reach such result bot someone have to "invent" it right now...

 

so what happens when you have no sound through hdmi???
