Since UDOO is your perfect companion for developing and creating awesome projects, we thought of integrating the most desired development environment and tools. Among the others you’ll find:
Then, in order to let everyone customize their UDOO experience, we included an handy Configuration Tool. This tool allows you to easily set up UDOO’s LVDS Touch Panels and Camera Module, customize the language and keyboard of UdooBuntu and edit lot of system settings with few clicks. This amazing configurator was brought to you by Ektor5, UDOO’s command line minister.
You can see the code and suggest additions by sending pull requests to:

Then, thanks to the clever feedbacks we received from our community members, we fixed lots of bugs and added some missing kernel modules. Now, for example, Kinect, Playstation Eye, Dualshock Joypads, DVB-T Adapters, Webcams are natively supported by UDOO and working out of the box. We also added some networking-related modules such as IPTABLES. Now you will be also able to use UDOO Camera Module as an ordinary Webcam, thanks to v4l2loopback support. To start the UDOO Camera Module compatibility service, just type
sudo service camera start
And you’ll be able to capture the video stream on /dev/video7
