I ordered my Bolt from Digikey, I wonder if my fan was louder than it was supposed to be, but I don't think it was outside its specs.
I had to swap the connector, but this fan runs almost completely silently and and is working great in my Bolt....
I picked up one that had an external power supply and had the same issue. it worked on another PC without issue.
