Hi I'm new to UDOO. Got my quad yesterday and tried to boot it. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work. I don't get a signal, neither on the serial port, nor on the HDMI nor on the LVDS display (15" touch). The control lamp on the UDOO board is green, though, and the LVDS display is obviously on, as the touch functionality seems to vibrate when touched. I tried the following: 1. Serial connection as described in the documentation section. This was tried on a Linux notebook (Elementary OS) and on an iMac. 2. Attached the UDOO to an HDMI TV, but didn't get a video signal. 3. Attached the LVDS display to the UDOO but again didn't get a signal. I tried the above with and without micro SD card in the slot. What can I do with device to "reset" it and make it start correctly? Best regards and thanks for some help Emmerich
If you already tried our troubleshooting: http://www.udoo.org/faq-items/why-my-udoo-wont-boot/ please open a ticket in our customer care asking for a replacement (RMA): http://www.udoo.org/customer-care/scp/
Quick guess: Did you install an OS on the SD card? Udoo has no flash memory on the board, so without an SD card in the slot, you won't see anything on the screens, and without a boot loader on the SD card, you also don't get any output on the serial port.
