i'd like to have a dual screen setup for 7" and hdmi (1920x1200). standard setup recognizes the monitor on hdmi - lcd setup @http://www.udoo.org/ProjectsAndTutorials/how-to-connect-lvds-displays-to-udoo-with-ubuntu-and-android/?portfolioID=1394 makes the 7" work. how do i enable both screens? 7" first, hdmi optional and "secondary" like in http://www.udoo.org/qt-3d-with-opengl-es-2-0/ which ubuntu is best suited for hardFloat and accelerated X?
mrx, right now you cannot set up ubuntu with both 7" and HDMI but we'll release a guide asap. Ubuntu 12.04 official from here: http://www.udoo.org/downloads/ is NOT HardFloat while Debian and Ubuntu Studio are both armHF. I guess you have to wait for the HF version of Ubuntu or try the studio version (it rocks).
Hello delba, I am assuming from what you are say, is that while Ubuntu cannot use both 7" & HDMI, Debian Wheezy can? If this is correct, I would be grateful if you could post some instructions on how to get 7" & HDMI working together on Debian Wheezy, please regards, Carlos
Hi, i'm evaluating the idea of buying and lcd for my project because having dual screen will be usefull. How is the current situation about dual screen support for linux with HDMI and LCD 7'' ? Is this feature still planned? Thanks
