Sure, I have to take my UDOO to work, for the picture. I have done a new install, recently, and now I can't connect to my Wi-Fi router. Grrrrr I'm sure it is a matter of installing something.....
Hi @vpeter, any progress ? I use your build quite everyday and I can say it's stable ! Thank you for your work
As you can see here I gave up. It was newer my intention to have my own github version for udoo and matrix builds but instead I tried to push everything into mainline openelec. Partially I succeed but last part is/was ignored. That's why I gave up. I could build this two images unofficially but would like to see everything in openelec repository. So I'm afraid all you are out of luck. I invest lot of time into this and reward would be to see everything in openelec. Now I lost time for nothing. Also didn't see much user requests there to merge the required changes.
Udoo team weak up !!! They absolutely don't care about kodi support from day 1. Let say it clear here : if you are planning to buy an udoo just buy a rpi2. Udoo team don't care about support, don't care about software, don't care about costumer. Udoo team don't care about anything, they just want to sell hardware with pre Alfa software that will make you crazy. You open elec image is perfect, the fact that you can't push your work in an official release makes me crazy.
xoddark took over my work here: https://github.com/xoddark/OpenELEC.tv/ ... ti_devices He will support all the current devices INCLUDING udoo. I will help as much I can.
Thanks vpeter! Where can we download a flashable IMG from gifthub? Or any other way to install available? Which page exactly? I clicked a lott on gifthub, but can't find/understand it... https://github.com/xoddark/OpenELEC.tv Thanks again
First post in this thread. Maybe you can also upgrade to 5.0.6 from here: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/fold ... WdJVTBiQ1E Don't really remember anymore ... my motivation is not as high as was before.
Maybe I posted in the wrong thread, sorry. I installed open elec succesfully version 5.0.0 (kernel linux3.14.25) And it works fine. I bought also the 15" (no touch) screen, wit my UDOO. (http://shop.udoo.org/eu/accessories/video-kit-15-6.html) However I cannot configure my lvds screen. Could I have some help here? Thanks.
ivan, I'm just guessing but maybe you need to change video device in uEnv.txt file. Now is HDMI Code: video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi
