First: we do really hope you like the new UDOO website. Since this is a major rework, something has inevitably go wrong. Please let us know what doesn't or what you think we could have done better\differently. We'll keep everything in this thread to manage feedbacks easily...
The text in the forum posts look awful to me. Quite big font size and everything is in italics. Makes reading quite annoying. The rest of the text looks fine, i.e. site header, user info, buttons, ...
At the page: http://udoo.org/tutorial/program-udoos-arduino-processor-external-pc/ Near the operative system names there's a sort of text option: Spoiler: text Extract the files in the archive and place them in the following paths, overwriting the previous existing files: [separator top=”20″ style=”none”]In Windows 32 bit: C:\Program Files\Arduino\hardware\tools [separator top=”20″ style=”none”]In Win 64 bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\tools [separator top=”20″ style=”none”]In Linux: /hardware/tools/ [separator top=”20″ style=”none”]In Mac OS X: /Contents/Resources/Java/hardware/tools/
I'd like to also request that the Italic font not be used to display the text of posts. This site is harder for me to read than it used to be, with excessive italics being a big part of that. Also, is there a way to avoid having so much whitespace? I guess this format is good for tablets and phones, but on a standard computer display it results in more scrolling due to wasted screen space. Shrinking down the large tiles reserved for "avatars" may help some, if that is possible. EDIT: I just discovered that going to User Profile -> Preferences, and changing the "Style" from "UDOO Flat" to "Default" helps with the issues I mentioned above. Less whitespace, and no more italics, yay! You do lose some design flourishes, going back to this forum software's out-of-box defaults. thanks!
