Hi all, I am so !@#$% tired of this !@#$%^ serial connection of my UDOO board. Does anybody know another connection method to upload Arduino sketches to the UDOO? What doesn't work: From PC or MAC to UDOO: (this worked before via j18 disconnected and programming USB) but since two days i get error "No device found on COM4" whilst trying to upload a sketch. The comport is the right one, because i can read and write via serial programs as putty and serial for Mac on the same port. From UDOO arduino IDE to Arduino: error " SAM-BA operation failed" mostly after 3% of the sketch upload This error was the reason i started to upload via an external PC. From pc to UDOO via j18 connected, halt the reboot via serialmonitor, disconnect j18 and try to upload via Arduino IDE: error: No Device found on COM4 What i hope to do: Upload sketch via native USB (Is this possible?) other possibilities...? Make a big bonfire of a big pile of UDOOS...... I like the concept, i like the possibilities but i dislike the way they implemented the serial connections. Anybody any suggestions? greetings, Pieter
It's getting worse. I can't even get a normal serial connection via putty, which was possible until yesterday. I am starting to think it's not me, but the board is starting to fail. Anybody who has any suggestion how to check if there is something wrong with the hardware of the serial port?
