I'm a novice with MCUs, but have some UNIX/LINUX experience. Just got my Neo and installed Ubuntu on it just fine. I VNC'd into the Neo, which also worked fine.

BUT. . . neither the Network Connections nor the Bluetooth Manager system preference seem to talk to the board. The former has all tabs and fields greyed out, and the latter just doesn't bother to open at all.

What am I missing? Do I need to tweak some stuff via the Terminal, to turn on the Wifi/Bluetooth module?3

you can not change the network settings if you are connected to the card via the Internet. via vnc can not touch the network settings - you can change them through micro hdmi
