You don't need an external drive.
For streaming via internet, you dont need a tv dongle as well.

From where do you want to stream? You can access also your Enigma Sat receiver or use one of the Internetportals

 

Hello vpeter, sorry but my udoo quad won't boot your image. It hags on "Starting kernel....." then boots up again. Have I to do something else than run the command "dd bs=1M if=/<image> of=<devname>? Thanks

 

Open file uEnv.txt on SD card and enable serial console.
Comment this line

and remove comment on this

Then connect with putty or some other program and check what you get on console. You can copy/paste to web page http://pastebin.com/

I don't have issues with wifi. But i would like to watch live TV like my Enigma2 STB. Unfortunately, the vision is buggy, it seems a bad IPTV even with an USB DTT stick connected. I've used VDR because is the only one that have a "skinned" channel search system. TvHeadend could search channels only over PC browser. But works great as Mediacenter!!!

Thank Vpeter for the new version of the program! It's very useful, i like so much!
I would like to realize a graphical interface for the arduino 2 installed onboard. I've realized my program on processing. Can i install it on kodi? how i can convert the program to transform it in add-on compatible?Kodi can see the serial port that communicate to arduino?

I don't think current kernel version will work with arduino and sam3x.

With a tft/lcd screen....

But I don't think so....

Also the outt/input has the 3.3v limitation
