These days, I'm making a brand new product by using "Udoo board Quad". In the process, because of some system design, we've replaced the original 10 FFC cables to customized 70cm FFC calbes and attached them to cameras but all of the cables are not working in video data transmissioning. Is it possible that FFC cable's length can affect to the data transmissioning? If it yes, please let me know how to amplify the data. This camera module is "MIPI 5MP IR AF Camera"
I had the same problem: with my 30cm FFC cable UDOO Cam is not working. Any help will be appreciated.
Dear guys, I made a little research and it seems that for this cable a 15cm lenght is the maximum https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=43737
Dear Andrea, Thanks for the info. I did not understand why you post this link: it seems that some users make it works simply using a longer cable on RaspberryPi but say this cannot be don UDOO....
Hi @afrancescon I thought that was the maximum lenght, then I noticed like you that in the Rpi forum someone managed to get it working, but honestly I'm not able to help you on this task, nor I found useful information on the link on the "how to".
