I reflashed the SD card with the same RC1 version of UDOObuntu that was installed before on my Neo Basic, and now it seems whatever I do the board doesn't connect to internet. It should have internet connection through USB attached to my Macbook (Web Configuration Panel says "Internet: YES"). Moreover, it appears to be connected to my WiFi network (IP shown in Web Configuration Panel). Ping to www.google.com through SSH produces no results (unknown host). The command sudo nm-connection-editor produces the following output: error: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set in the environment. (nm-connection-editor:7110): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: In VNC Viewer, Chromium can't open web pages. Any hints? Before reflashing the SD card I was able to connect the board to the internet without any problems (I was successfully running BitTorrentSync).
still don't know how... I still experience some connection problems though. I have a question: is it correct to assume that, even without WiFi connection, Udoo is connected to internet when I plug it through USB to my computer, which has internet connection? Is this the meaning of the "Internet: YES" label in Web Configuration Panel?
It's not correct to assume that. In that context UDOO NEO will be offline. The meaning of the label is to tell you if you are offline or not.
My udoo neo connected to internet through USB connection to my laptop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
