ANDROID 5.0.2 LOLLIPOP also for UDOO QUAD

sorry if I answer just now - Christmas, you know - but I've been told to rectify. There will be indeed Android Lollipop for UDOO Quad! I just ask you to wait till next year, when I'll have fresher news to share.

Hahaha another ridiculously long wait for another image that will probably be too slow to do anything worthwhile with.
I would generally expect march to mean march next year, but with all of the neo love it will probably be march 2 years from now.

 

At this point, would it not be better to just skip to marshmallow? Wandboard's website indicated they would have it this spring... I don't suppose the efforts could be pooled?

 

NXP - former Freescale - hasn't released yet the BSP to build the image, so there's really no point in talking about this. Regarding Wandboard, Spring is already here and I don't see Marshmallow on Wandboard. As soon as the BSP by NXP will be online we'll start working on it, count on this, but before that point it is really impossible. I wonder how Wandboard could even release Android 6 for imx6solox before NXP, without any clue so far.

Looking back in time on their website: they released Lollipop about a month after the BSP was posted on NXP's website; so I'm guessing that when they made the announcement about Marshmallow in January they expected the BSP would be released by now.

 

Any news about Android 5.x for UDOO QUAD?
The Neo version works great. The A62 5.0.2 I suppose is not suitable for the QUAD.
