Hi, I connected through VNC to a UDOO Neo with a clean install of UDOObuntu 2.0 and it asks me to update Ubuntu to the new version (I think it was 14.04.1), is it worth/safe to update?
Don't update, if you do it you'll have to reflash the image. It's not safe. We're working to solve this problem.
Maybe you didn't manage to upgrade it, because if you had you would have had to reflash everything. Anyway, we're fixing it this very moment.
There is now a new udoobuntu 2.1 released and also a pre-beta version based on 16.04.http://www.udoo.org/forum/index.php?threads/4957/
interesting, but do you suggest to update? since if I do, I would need to re-set all the system with plenty of work to do (webserver, installed packages, no-ip, etc.) is there any major improvement with respect to 2.0?
Udoobuntu 2.1 is just the same as udoobuntu 2.0 with all the apt-get updated and upgrade done. So no real necessity to do this from 2.0 If you are still on a RC version you should update as especially the serial interface between Linux and Arduino has improved a lot.
