hey jas-mx. thank you for your answer. you confirm. udoo quad can display 2 differents screen? not mirroiring. hdmi + ldvs (on android??) thank you the lvds screen for udoo are only the 7" and 15" as in documentation ??
@jas-mx @NickoR I think that UDOO Quad isn't able to display 2 different screens (HDMI and LVDS) out-of-the-box, without changing/adding any line of code. This forum is not a Google bot. The LVDS screens for UDOO are the ones contained in the shop: shop.udoo.org
Hello ! thank you! If this is just a code change, this is perfect !!! I was just afraid that this is only the mirroring!
@NickoR Yes, it's just a code change. If and when you will write such a code change please inform the community and we will update the website.
I hope @NickoR will be able to do this "simple" code changes to dts (device tree files). To do the changes is simple, just edit a file. To figure out what has to be changed, what dependencies has to be taken into account is something else. Then does this change also apply to Android because that is what the TS is heading to.
Android's display interface doesn't work the same way as linux fb, so this change isn't applicable to Android. In fact having 2 display is only useful if you can point different applications at the separate frame buffers under linux.
oh okey. thank! I was just thinking that the change valid under linux was on android. thank you very much In any case, I do not advance. no information on the possibility of dual independant display on android..
