Hi, I am interested in the UDOO X86 as a controller for a scientific setup. The combination of a x86 architecture (ensuring compatibility with scientific instrument drivers) and of the Arduino microcontroller seems ideally suited to this application. One detail I am not clear on is the number of USB root controllers. This is important to ensure that e.g. several USB 2.0 instruments can run at full bandwidth in parallel. Thank you !
USB root hub? USB host controller? You are confusing these two things, I think - otherwise, please explain to me.
Sorry for the confusion, I mean USB Host Controller. I am interested in how many devices can be on their own USB controller.
+1, like to know the number of USB3 Host controllers as well. Can I connect two USB3 external harddrives to the both USB3 ports concurrently without issue?
