There's no x86 architecture release of Android 6.0, though a release candidate is available from the Android x86 project - http://www.android-x86.org/ Install instructions are on that site - http://www.android-x86.org/documents/installhowto
Hi Laura, Thanks for info. So my understanding is: I will compile downloaded source from repo and create img file as mentioned. Create bootable sd card and udoo x86 should be able to boot from sd card by selecting desired os (other than preloaded) Is my understanding correct? Is there any switch or configuration jumper to boot directly from sd card? Thanks, Shailesh
On the UDOO X86, the boot drive configuration can be set from within the UEFI BIOS. There will be instructions provided on how to do this once the board is released.
I eagerly await this. I am building a multi touch table and wanted something with a small foot print but good processing power for Android x86. Pre-ordered the ultra just now.
