I have already ANDROID 6.0.1 MARSHMALLOW installed and I need to change the IP address for the Ethernet. How to do that ?
If you follow the general Android instruction like the following is not working? If not, what errors issues do you have? http://www.techteria.com/guides/how-to-fix-obtaining-ip-address-problem-in-android/915
No I don't use the Wi-Fi. I followed those instructions, but still I can't ping if I'm not su- (superuser).
The elinux Udoo site is no longer maintained. Apparently after Android KitKat (4.2) the setprops for NDS is no longer supported and you have to use another method : https://www.e-consystems.com/blog/linux-android/?p=678
I'm not familiar with android programing and will be fast, if there was an app to set Ethernet configuration. I found this but no chance to run.
If you are not able to find a solution on the Android side you can also consider setting a fixed IP on the router side for your device. Mostly this is done based on the Mac address. Edit: information link https://www.google.nl/amp/www.pcadv...ifi/how-assign-static-ip-address-3442670/?amp
