Yup, that's what's on my Ultra board and in addition to full power/reset control, it's a nice indicator of HDD activity. Purchase that along with this fan (until Udoo starts shipping the fan add-ons) while you're at it:

    Enjoy!

Are you referring to the information on the upper right corner of page 22 of the schematic diagrams?

Is there a diagram of the female mating jack to header connector CN25 showing how the external power switch connects? That would be useful.

Is installing an external on/off button simply a matter of connecting an external momentary push-button between CN25 pins 5 and 6 paralleling SW2?

All the info can be found in the user manual (pdf) par 3.3.6 page 30.

Please, Udoo team @Laura , put the information of the pdf in the hardware reference part of the online documentation!!!

The User Manual does indeed provide the information:

    ExternalWiring.JPG
So, it would appear from the User Manual, that an external momentary, normally-open push-button can be wired to header CN25 pins 5 & 7. This is useful for users of the KKSB Udoo X86 case as mentioned in this thread.

Thank you for your generous and kind assistance. :)
