In a magazine about SMT (Surface Mount Technology) I saw an article about some production solutions that were chosen by Seco at the manufacturing of the Udoo X86. It gives some nice background information about the challenges a SBC manufacturer has to deal with. Here is the link to the introduction, at the end you can go to the whole article. http://smt.iconnect007.com/index.ph...ess-story-for-the-ud00-x86-seco-board/104518/
its strange, when i follow the link to the magazine for reading the entire article, http://iconnect007.uberflip.com/i/817722-smt-may2017/72 my udoo ULTRA start to lag...
Thanks for posting, interesting read. I'd be curious to know if this method is going to be applied to all products (udoo) going forward. I would be concerned about the pcb not getting a wash as part of the process, but considering what it'll look like after a year or two anyways with where I'm putting it...well this is a good example
Try this link to the same article if your browser supports HTML5: http://iconnect007.uberflip.com/i/817722-smt-may2017/0?m4= This website version uses HTML5 which performs better (video and bandwidth), and the article starts on page 72.
