Very quick question, I need to connect two quality internal cams to the X86 board, does anyone have any recommendations? Cheers
You can use any USB webcam that can work on a normal PC. It all depends on your definition of quality. For example: http://www.techradar.com/news/compu...rals/what-webcam-5-reviewed-and-rated-1027972
Perhaps you can do something with the Braswell Pinout. https://www.udoo.org/docs-x86/Hardware_&_Accessories/GPIOs.html
I purchased the Logitech C930e Webcam refurbished at a reasonable price (better than 50% off MSRP). It has several advanced features (not the least of which is H.264 hardware compression): Full HD 1080p video calling (up to 1920 x 1080 pixels); 720p HD video calling (up to 1280 x 720 pixels) with supported clients H.264/SVC video compression 90-degree field of view Zoom to 4X in 1080p Rightlight™ 2 Technology for clear image in various lighting environments, even low light Optional light application for control of pan, tilt, and zoom ZEISS® lens certification Autofocus External privacy shutter Built-in dual stereo mics Hi-speed USB 2.0 certified (USB 3.0 ready) Tripod-ready universal clip fits laptops, LCD, or CRT monitors Datasheet It should arrive later this week. I'll provide some hands-on information once I get my hands on it.
Will you be testing it with Linux? I've been thinking getting one of C920/C922Pro/C930e (havn't decided model yet).
I had a very similar camera from logitech, must be 6-7 years old now, if I remember correctly in performed well except for low light.
