What is the name of the speaker jack header on the X86 board? I'd like to use it for my project instead of the 3.5mm (headphone) output.
Right speaker connector CN10 Left speaker connector CN11 http://download.udoo.org/files/UDOO_X86/Doc/UDOO_X86_MANUAL_Rel.1.0.pdf --> section 3.2
which are two connectors type HR p/n A2001WV-S-02PD01 or equivalent. Mating connector: HR p/n A2001H-02P with A2001 series female crimp terminals, if you want to buy some. (from section 3.3.5) You can buy them here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231340279235 (thanks @LDighera )
Would be really sweet if they put stuff like this in their doc/spec/wiki. Especially for a board that is meant for makers. How do I tag an admin?
They have put this stuff in the manual (pdf) see the linked pdf in the post of Maurice, section 3.3.5. This information should be enough to order the required connectors. I just helped you. And when you search the forum for these part numbers you would have found the ebay link yourself (it was the way I did it)
Although @Laura it would be easier (I mentioned it before) that the content of this user manual PDF should be added to the HTML part of the documentation. It is very confusing to find one part of the documentation online and the other part in a pdf (that changes without notification)
Ah. I never knew the PDF existed or was different. Thanks for the clarification. These days, I expect the wiki online doc was the same and the whole of the available resources. Forums are not good sources of documentation or for distributing official resources. (especially since the contents of the PDF attachment don't show up in a "search" of the forums.) Thanks for pointing me at the PDF.
Hi, I tried accessing the manual at http://download.udoo.org/files/UDOO_X86/Doc/UDOO_X86_MANUAL_Rel.1.0.pdf but I cannot find it. Has it moved to another place?
Another reason not to publish manuals with PDF's It had a name change. It can be downloaded from here https://www.udoo.org/docs-x86/Introduction/Introduction.html or here https://www.udoo.org/docs-x86/Hardware_Reference/Resources.html or here https://www.udoo.org/other-resources/
