Re: Pre-Orderers Thanks for the update Maurizio. Personally I'm keen to get mine, but it's more important to get regular updates/news even if it's 'bad' news (such as production or packing delays). I'd also be very interested if someone could write up an article on the whole manufacturing process... 'behind the scenes'. It sounds like you contracted a factory to produce 1K a week for a 10 week run or something?

Re: Pre-Orderers Does anyone know roughly how long it would take for a new preorder to arrive? I know that they are shipping, but this is a bit vague, as new orders might only start shipping in a week, or a month, or god knows how long. the oculus rift is a good example of this. Can anyone give a rough estimate?
Re: Pre-Orderers The USA & Canada Kickstart backers report receiving their boards 1-3 days after they received the shipping e-mail. I don't see why it wouldn't be any different for the pre-orders. UDOO say a batch (all Duals, some Quads) will leave the factory today. I would then expect a weeks delay until the fulfilment company starts dispatching orders to individuals. My take on it is that perhaps the pre-orders will be on door steps circa Fri 15th Nov and the following 2 weeks or so. 95% complete by end of Nov. Depending where in the world you are. Of course a small percentage will be lost/delayed in customs etc on the way as is always the case when talking about thousands of items.

Re: Pre-Orderers As Lifeboat_Jim notes a few posts, some pre-orders are already shipping, but its likely to be 2-3 weeks before you get notices. Review his post, then lets give the boards another week or 2. if people dont start getting shipping notices by then, lets bring it back up. But for now, they are shipping to the distribution facilities and should start getting to people before the end of the month from what we have read.
