    Hello

I was wondering if there is some news about IR port ?
I've saw in bios/UFI an option to use IR port in order to wake up (?) Udoo, but nothing in order to use this port a serial port !

Does the team work on a solution ?
The IR port use the STM32F100 to communicate with the Intel CPU and i don't know how use the STM32F100 to access to IR port ?

I use Linux... and i like to use this port in my /dev/tty???

    Thank's
    Thierry

    Thierry,

That IR receiver device is a "consumer IR" device, not a serial port device.
That C-IR receiver is being front-end processed by STM32 microcontroller, then feed thru
Intel x86's SM-bus to the Intel CPU.

Check the CEC Framework thread to understand how it is supposed to be used.

    Thank's...
I have ever read this about CEC, but not up to the end ;-)
It's right that it not seem to be serial port : when you want to pilot Kodi with this, you think that it will be hard to do this if it's not a serial port... but this article said it would be possible : i'm going to try it...
Does someone here has ever do that ? pilot Kodi by using IR port ?
