Downloaded and installed the latest version of Udoobuntu 2.1.4 for a UDOO Quad. It boots successfully and I've been able to connect it to the Internet. I am able to run the "sudo apt update" command, however when trying to install the udoo-iot-cloud-client it fails indicating a Size mismatch. The exact errors are "E: Failed to fetch http://repository.udoo.org/pool/main/u/udoo-iot-cloud-client-modules_1.1.0_armhf.deb Size mismatch" "E: Failed to Failed to fetch http://repository.udoo.org/pool/main/u/udoo-iot-cloud-client_1.1.0_all.deb Size mismatch" "E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?" I have done both and still no success. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Did you follow this procedure? https://www.udoo.org/docs-iot/Client_Setup/Prepare_UDOObuntu_version_before_2.2.0.html You are using Udoobuntu 2.1.4 which is < 2.2.0. I must say it is confusing. There is no Udoobuntu 2.2.0 for Quad yet. @Laura so iot is not supported yet for Udoo Quad?
That was exactly it. I have a NEO as well and the installation worked since it was already on the 2.2.0 version. I just didn't pay attention to what I was installing on the Quad. From what I can tell the IoT client is supported on the Quad, I just had to follow those prep-steps since the Quad is running on 2.1.4. Thank you for having me look into that further. With the prep-steps complete, I was able to get the IoT client downloaded; however, now it won't run the configuration and start the service. New error is: Setting up udoo-iot-cloud-client (1.1.2) .... 0 start: Job failed to start invoke-rc.d: initscript udoo-iot-cloud-client, action "start" failed dpkg: error processing package udoo-iot-cloud-client (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error code exit status 1 Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.19-0ubuntu6.13) ... I have the same Reading package lists... Done Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done udoo-iot-cloud-client is already the newest version. there is a message on web control: UDOO IoT Cloud service is not ready. Install the service to manage your board remotely. and after the installation I receive upper error.
There are 2 client installation procedures: The normal one and one for older Udoobuntu version (like Udoo Quad) @Laura the introduction page is not very clear that there is no Udoobuntu 2.2.0 yet for Udoo Dual/Quad and you have to use the alternative installation method.
I have write the image to a new sd card and tried to do the instructions finally I have the same problem.
