Hi, Thank you guys for the great product. I ran Ubuntu Linaro on it and it works like a charm. I tried to run the Yocto image however but it doesn't seem to boot properly (nothing shows on the monitor). There are no documentations along with it so I'm not sure if I should expect the HDMI to work. Any hints and guidance will be appreciated. I'm interested in cross compiling Qt for embedded linux. I tried to cross compile Qt for this board with Ubuntu following Freescale iMX6 guidelines with no luck. Thanks
Not sure it's worth your time trying Yocto at this stage. If you don't like Ubuntu (and I can understand why) there is Arch Linux & Debian Minimals/Full Fats to try.
Hi, the Yocto version in our website is quite old. We're working to release a working/more stable version. As Lifeboat_Jim said i suggest you a Debian Minimal http://www.udoo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=251
Lifeboad_Jim, In the Yocto video demo there was a mention of Qt integration that's why I'm interested to try it out. I'm trying out the Debian Distros. Thanks. Manul, Good tutorial. Left you some comments. Delba, That's great. Keep us updated.
