    Dear all,

While starting a new project on with the X86 Basic, I've encountered a nasty issue..

/dev/ttyACM0 is only intermittently available, approximately 0.2 s per 6 seconds. It appears, and then disappears. If I connect a separate Arduino using usb I do not have this issue.

It seems to me, that this problem is caused from the Curie chip. Therefore I have tried to place an empty programs on the Curie Arduino, the IDE says that uploading is done. However no success.

What could be the cause? Is the Arduino causing the problem?

    Kind regards,

Has pressing the Arduino Master Reset button on the Udoo X86 any influence?
Did you deinstall the complete Arduino IDE installation (including deleting the $HOME/.Arduino15 folder) and installed the Arduino IDE again?
On what Linux distribution/version are you working?
