Clock Sustaining Battery

    I am interested in keeping my clock alive when the board gets disconnected for travel. Is there a low power solution (Watch battery type) or do I need to have 5v at all times?

    No, a 3V 'coin' battery is fine. There is a connector J1 for this very purpose, you'll need the right connector of course.
