The UDOO BOLT boards sent to distributors are the same as assigned to backers. The SODIMMs (memory) are only in the kits and these are not on Mouser at the moment. I believe you can purchase compatible memory from current Mouser inventory. The difference in cost is because we send the Kickstarter boards as a thanks/reward for supporting the development of the board. We value all our users and would love to continue offering the same price, but the high component and manufacturing cost of the board prevents this.
I think Mouser should be correct their description... They said :”Memory 32G” in this page, specification part, https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/742-SC40-20000000-C0 But they didn’t said it’s optional, should purchase separately or support up to 32GB or the board don’t cover the memory...
The 32 GB is either a reference to the total supported RAM or the onboard eMMC storage, which is 32 GB. I will send a message to the Sales Manager to see if the description can be ammended.
Given that the idea of most boards in this space is that they are very affordable while also functional, there's significant price sensitivity. I'd buy a few if they were closer to the $249 kickstarter price (not looking for the early bird $229), but jumping all the way up to $332 is pretty significant. At that price it's competing with "traditional" boards rather than higher end maker boards. Is it fair to assume that there are no plans for other distributors or any other mechanism to lower the price for the lifetime of the board that you could share?

Are you able to provide links to other Udoo V8 distributers, beside Mouser)? Do any of your other suppliers offer V8 "kits"?
And it is sent from outside EU i guess ? Meaning additional taxes ? I'll have to pass, it is a bit too pricy.
