Has anybody successfully been able to install a new version of bluez over the existing one on the NEO. I've tried it multiple times but it seems it always starts up the 4.101 version and not the one that was built. I seems that make install places things in /usr/libexec ... but when reboot it still links to /usr/sbin...
bluez 5.x needs Kernel 3.4 or higher. Udoobuntu is on kernel 3.14 (Ubuntu 14). So if you will succeed to get it installed correctly it is not guaranteed to work.
Thanks for the update, I guess a more fundamental question is a Udoobuntu with Ubuntu 16 ever going to be officially released. I see a bunch of post a few years ago with betas and such, but it looks like this has fallen off the face of the earth.
