I have been trying to get Linux installed to this thing since I received it and have had no luck. I cannot get the Udoo Bolt to boot to my USB stick. It will only boot to the eMMC that has a filed Windows install on it. There doesn't appear to be any way to disable the eMMC in the BIOS.
You need to boot into the BIOS settings and move your USB stick to the top of the boot device list to boot from the USB stick.
I figured out that I had to reset the bios to defaults to get the boot list to show up. So I did that and selected my USB drive. Now my Udoo Bolt doesn't POST.
Hmm, I did not have to reset the BIOS, I only had to update the boot priority. If you can't even get into the BIOS setup now, then you have a new (and worse) issue. If you can get into the BIOS the Getting Started guide should have the right steps to set the BIOS config correctly.
