    Hello,

I have a couple of UDOO X86s and I've been using a SATA drive off of the USB 3.0 with an adapter, but it's time to quit playing around and connect it up the real way. I was wondering if the power and SATA cables for the bolt are the same as they are for the UDOO x86.

    Thank you,
    jorgy

I can confirm that the Bolt and the x86 use the same SATA cables as I have used them on both.

Any suggestion on how to seach the SATA power cable, I only find cables with a big Molex connector whis does not fit with BOLT DC output.
    Thank you.

FYI, I can confirm the motherboard connector for the SATA power is a JST 2.0mm 4-Pin.

These cables are surprisingly hard to find for a reasonable price. You can find some NUC or iMac JST4 to SATA power cables in kits but most are 1.25MM pitch which MAY be too shallow (someone else can validate).

This link is for example only... crazy price gouging.

What I ended up doing was buying a bunch of JST4 2.0MM cables from Amazon and some SATA punch down heads from ebay and making my own. So I can make 20x power cables $11.50.
