Armbian is Linux distribution specialized for ARM devices. Its polished Debian/Ubuntu on top of our kernel(s). A few general things what is different than a standard Debian: https://forum.armbian.com/topic/778...nd-debian-linux/?do=findComment&comment=58689 Since we deal only with ARM ... we only support Udoo with ARM chip.
No system is without issues but Armbian is usually in a (far) better shape than stock board maker creations.
Update to 19.11.4 Bionic, Buster and Bullseye with kernel 5.4.y https://www.armbian.com/udoo-quad/ Wireguard, Docker, advanced wireless drivers, opensource 3d and video acceleration, ...
I have installed your latest release of armbian (Focal server) and I love it. I have a few questions: I got GPIO40 to work but GPIO55 is always high. Are all GPIOs supported? Installing docker using armbian-config quits abruptly without installing? I installed it later using 'apt install docker'. Is this expected? I looked at the armbian documentation but can't figure out how to enable CAN and I2C. Am I correct to assume that these are device tree overlays and are not yet supported? Thank you for your work!
Updated to kernel 5.8.y @B35a13 Sorry, this board is supported with minimum efforts. We have no plans/budget to develop overlays for this hardware.
Hi guys - I've got a 3M UDOO Quad LVDS screen purchased from the store some while back. I'm trying to get the LVDS screen to work on the Armbian Buster Distro and can't seem to get it to wake up at all. Can someone shed some light on how to enable the 15" LVDS with this distro please? I'm using the Boinc xfce desktop Kernel 5.9.y Stable. Thanks!
@igorpec, I fully understand. I am just glad that thanks to your efforts I am not holding a paperweight. The Armbian builds run great and I hope to be able to contribute once I figure out how things work.
