UDOO bolt V-8 is not powering on

Hi,

We have purchased UDOO bolt V-8 on the date of 28 march 2023 and the order ID is #000003842. We are facing some issues with the board which is explained below, Please check and do the needful.


UDOO bolt V-8 is not powering on (turning on) when power is switched on. Only a orange led is blinking.


Please find the picture of the board just blinking the orange led. If you press the power on button the second orange led near the power socket should turn to green and the board boots the OS. But now when I power on it is stuck at orange led and the board is not working.id

Hey mate, are you sure your adapter is ok? I had an adapter once that looked like its working - the voltage was fine, but once under load, it was not providing the amps. You can also disconnect the adapter, all other cables, press the power button few imes and leave it disconnected for like an hour (15 min should be enough), then connect it back.
Also you can try to connect an usb-c 19V adapter if you have any on hand.

 

I tried all the things mentioned below. I am sending the screenshot with usb-C power
connection.

Hey what is the max power output on that power adapter? i think you need like 50 or 60Wats

 

Hi,

19V 65W AC Power Adapter and also customer is saying that they have checked the power adapter and it was working fine earlier and it is the problem only with the board.

Sorry i meant the usb-c adapter from your picture. It looks like a phone charger, or is that the 19V 65W you mention above?

 

The 19v 65 W adapter is not usb-c type. It is plugged on the DC port.
there is no problem with the adapters, it is only the board that is not getting booted.
