Hi, I was under the impression that Touch Screen would come with attachments that would allow it to stand on its on. Since it did not, where can I buy such hardware. Thanks Derrick
This is good point. I've noticed that when I lay screen on table flat, touch works...when I stand it up with my hand, touch doesn't work. I'm thinking this is a HW issue. Any thoughts?
I will hook mine up in the next couple days and see if I have the same issue. If so, that is a problem.
Disregard my problem, I have no issue. You can't hold it up with your hand because it's capacitive haha.
I wasn't using a stand...I just leaned it up against a non-capacitive surface. On another note: I've noticed that with 15.6" touch screen the touch doesn't respond for some people when I have them touch the screen. They end up having to apply more pressure (to get larger surface area). If someone with very dry hands touches the screen it doesn't respond either. It clearly seen with drags. Is there anyway I can boost capacitance? Any ideas?
SOLVED 15.6 Touch Screen Mount I took a chance on ordering 2 of the 8-10 wire stands from Adafruit and the work great for my purposes. What sucks is I ordered the 15.6 Touch and received the non Touch Screen, which sucks.
