Re: How can I get Debian Desktop Wheezy 1.1 to use network t apt-get install ntpdate date -s "11/20/2014 12:48:00" hint :- date -s "month/day /year hours:minutes:seconds" you mat also may need to add or change : apt-get install locales update-locale
Re: How can I get Debian Desktop Wheezy 1.1 to use network t Thanks for your suggestions. ntpupdate & locales where already installed by default. The answer was to run tzselect to set my time zone.
Re: How can I get Debian Desktop Wheezy 1.1 to use network t Well while it was satisfying to set my time zone, the clock on the bottom of my screen stubbornly displays what I guess is UTC time (even after a reboot).
Re: How can I get Debian Desktop Wheezy 1.1 to use network t I had the same problem that the time was in UTC , but can`t remember how I fixed it , so it is fixable . I think I may have used system time in webmin , or had to change something manually.
Re: How can I get Debian Desktop Wheezy 1.1 to use network t webmin looks very interesting for a bunch of operations that seems to be missing from Wheezy. The question is, how to get it? Thanks for your help
