Hi All, I've been working for quite a while on how to make your own Debian based Xbmc image. To make things simple and digestible by all, this tutorial comes in 3 parts. Create your work environment and the Image environment Compile the Linux Kernel Compile XBMC and move the final image to your sdcard I chose github simply because the platform allows anyone to fork my work. So, feel free to contribute and submit your pull requests. Thanks PS: Cross-posting this with the xbmc forum.
Wow, very nice, I guess you can use apt-get to install/remove software or do you need to compile everything on your own?
Yes, that's the whole idea behind this documentation. you can install a web server, mysql, ntp or anything you want that has been compiled for ARM.
