Hi 1st post so please forgive if in the wrong location. I’m having trouble with the wifi adaptor RTL5370 being quite slow and twitchy in general. I’ve loaded the following OS and it’s the same for each OS. - Ubuntu 12.04 release 2.1 - Debian Wheezy ArmHF release v1.0 beta - Android Problems experienced - When in SSH, delay in typing on terminal screen - When streaming large files over wifi i.e. music or movies there is skipping / streaming gaps I’ve tested the above on another wifi module / other machines and I do not get the same issues for the same files. Has anyone experienced the same? Is there a fix to this? I’ve searched the net and found turning the power management of the wifi off helps with the 1st problem but the 2nd problem is still the same.
Not a solution but a proble of mine that may shed light on yours. I've noticed my UDOO wifi is extremely slow. My fritzbox router tells me the connection is only 5mbps; while the laptop next to it is over 100. I have remote connection issues over wifi; but on cable its sweet. So there is something up with the WiFi connections on the UDOO?
