Greetings All, I am wanting to use the RAMPS-FD Arduino DUE Shield on the UDOO platform. I am replacing an existing system that utilizes a 24Volt power supply, Nema 23 steppers and POLOU style Stepper drivers. I know that the RAMPS-FD board can handle 24 Volts and I am almost Positive that the Arduino DUE, running at 12Volts, can accommodate the RAMPS-FD board running at 24 Volts. My question is can UDOO handle the RAMPS-FD board at 24 Volts?? Any info on this will be greatly appreciated... rrbecker
ramps fd is designed to run on arduino due, there are 2 separate "lines" for the power supply, the logic and the power. your arduino (or udoo in this case), won't touch the 12 volts that you input in the ramps fd. i think that you will able to run ramps fd on udoo. if you are not sure, check the schematics file of ramps fd, or ask in the reprap forums
