We are all waiting for an official support of xbmc. Udoo team promise they will focus on xbmc devellopement after the release of udoobuntu. Now udoobuntu is now stable so we are waiting for something new. But clearly I'm disappointed. I'm at the point to grab 100 new dollars to buy a cubox ... At least they have a real support of xbmc ...
I installed xbmc on udoo (4) and I can not watch movies that I have on HDD or USB pen drive how can I watch movies using the usb udoo?
I'm testing the 0.06 yocto xbmc and I'm having a problem with the xbmc plug-ins, most of them doesn't work I've tested those same plug-ins on the android app and it work perfectly Does anybody had the same problem Thanks
I also found the Android app to work better, at least w.r.t. the plugins. It also runs 2x as fast. However, there are many hardware issues with Android, e.g. screen resolution, that were not easily solved. I went back to the Yocto image and used XBMCHUB's Linux auto installer immediately after booting the first time. This helped a lot and I can at least a few of the important add-ons working. I have HDMI video, 5.1 audio, etc. Still annoying that things like bluetooth aren't functional. Hopefully the Openelec version is finished soon! That would be GREAT.
The Android App isn't working that good for me - only 720p movies are playing and i have to use the MX Player - I'm on the latest Yocto image from Wolfgard (Stéphan RAFIN) he posted in his Blog in one of his comments (https://stephan-rafin.net/owncloud/publ ... 2672ff507c). That is working fine, there is also an OpenELEC Image post10427.html?sid=c52794d4824f6c75b815c38ac4246117#p10271 rightnow the OpenELEC and Udoo People working togehter
