    It looks like the default m4 firmware occupied those PINs on arduino. Thus CAN can not be used. By uploading a custom m4 firmware everything works...

    @modjo You may have to check the levels on the MCP2551, it is a 5V CAN Tranceiver and the NEO is 3.3V logic Level, Maybe the CAN Input is 5V...
