I just read the wiki pages, and infact this is the only way you can currently program it. You have to boot the udoo without a sd card in it....

good luck searching. I think a hdmi to lcd adaptor would be cheaper, mine cost me $40, and another 10 for the lcd power brick.

I would think it would at the very least need a custom cable/adaptor. I bought a lvds to hdmi converter off ebay for the laptop lcd I had lyin...
