I just got my UDOO x86 and I super excited to get it working. Following - http://support.jide.com/hc/en-us/articles/216394327-How-to-install-Remix-OS-for-PC- - I downloaded the image and flashed it to a 16GB microSD card. I insert the SD card into the UDOO and everything seems to be going fine but it gets to where it flashing the RemixOS logo but never goes beyond that. I tried both UEFI and Legacy and the same results. Here is the twist, I try the same steps putting and using the same SD cand and a SD>USB converter (booting from Legacy of course) and after a few minutes im presented with the RemixOS desktop. I know there is a thread about SD cards being set to read only but that was fixed with a firmware update and my UDOO is currently using the rev102 BIOS. I went back and tried a few other things with the SD plugged directly into the UDOO like this - http://support.jide.com/hc/en-us/ar...all-Remix-OS-for-PC-single-boot-on-hard-disk- - but still no luck. Has anyone else run into this issue?
Hey again all, I think I spoke to soon. I guess I was looking at the wrong number and it seems the version of my BIOS is 101. I'll update once I get it upgraded and let you all know what happens.
