    Hi all

I just uploaded one case, I designed (and successfully tested).

    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2416173

As i designed it using OpenJSCAD, I also uploaded the source file to allow others to tweak it a bit for their need.

    thanks.

The one I uploaded is having base height as 15mm, mean it cant be used with 3.5Inch SSD as the M2 connector will touch SSD. Actually short of few mm in height. You need to increase the height at least by 5mm. I also uploaded JSCAD files. If you want to upload base with 25mm or 20mm height I can do. No need to change top cover size. (if you are increasing top height to accommodate CPU FAN, then base height (BH) needs to be adjusted).

In base jscad, adjust these parameters
var BH=15; //base height. 15 for no SSD, 25 for with SATA SSD. 20 for only SATA SSD
var TH=27; //Top height. 25 might be better

    In top, adjust these parameters.

    var fanMount=union(mm40FanMount,mm50FanMount);
fanMount=mm40FanMount; //if you want both 40 and 50mm FAN mount uncomment.

I ordered this fan and hence i hope i need not increase top height

    Dear sekarpdkt,

First of all thanks you for your adapting your work to my request.

I think that it's better to calculate a security distance from the M2 disk to avoid physical contact and for thermal reasons.
For the upper part I think it's better to calculate the distance with top for official Udoox86 fan.

    Thanks again and best regards

    Dear sekarpdkt,

I printed your case aswell, truly a VERY nice design man!
Did you use PLA or ABS? I'm a bit afraid of the PLA melting with the temperatures the Udoo might reach

    Thanks in advance!

PLA should be fine. It doesn't really start melting until around 160C, and if your Udoo is putting off that much (and air flow isn't moving it away) you've got way bigger problems on your hands than the case...

I used PLA. I also modified the design a bit, but I sent my UDOO for servicing as ethernet port was not working. After receiving it, I will print and if it fits will upload. If anyone interested, can try. Not tested yet by me. I did some modifications to support SD card. In addition, as those thinner walls covering ports are not stronger, tried to extend top cover wall into bottom. Eagerly waiting for my board to come back to test this design.
