Udoo Digital Signage is searching for funds. Udoo Digital Signage, http://www.ulule.com/udoo-digital-signage/, will be a professional operating system designed for digital signage installations atop of the new and powerful Udoo board; system will be able to handle both web and multimedia content in a full-screen restricted view. It is a port of my well known, successful, Raspberry Digital Signage, http://sourceforge.net/projects/raspberrysign, with mooore engine power (up to 4x CPU, plus the impressive GPU) and more flexibility for innovation. The Mods don't have a problem with this iwk. Indeed several vendors are/will wrap commercial products around the UDOO given how great it is, so you are in good company. As you've stated, as long as the code and/or hardware schematics are/is Open Source to a usable degree you are moving the platform/ecostructure forward. I doubt Team UDOO will have a problem either, but I'm sure they'll say if they do (I doubt they will). Keep us posted with how you get on!
