Does the UDOO Camera module work with the X86?

I bought a UDOO camera module for my UDOO Quad. Can the same camera be used with the X86? The page that describes the camera module says:

UDOO Camera module is designed to be connected via CSI interface to UDOO Camera Connector. Connection is made via a FLAT-213-16PIN cable.

I see no CSI interface mentioned in the X86 documentation, so I presume it does not have one. Any suggestions for using the camera with the x86?

 

There is no camera CSI interface on UDOO x86 board.

 

This is very concerning to me. Not only is connector CN27 shown populated on the back of the board in photos on the kickstarter page and webstore, but the MIPI CSI interface is definitely shown on sheet 22 of the schematic. Are connector CN27 and the relevant ICs not populated on the boards people are receiving now? Is there a reason for the disconnect between the documentation and reality?

 

Schematic diagram remark stated CFG = DNP
which means the configuration is "Do Not Populate".

Entire camera interface related circuitry is not populated.

I just played with a USB 3 industrial camera from Ximea. It was working without any problem

Can I have the exact model you bought from Ximea? What OS are you running on your Uddo board?
I wish to buy a camera use for Udoo x86 board.
