I have the Ultra version. I’m booting from an M.2 drive and using a 2TB HDD for data storage. So my 32 GB EMMC is going unused. Is it possible to use the on board EMMC as a cache drive for the HDD? Is it even beneficial?
In theory, you would want your cache to be as fast if not faster than the permanent storage medium. I do not believe this would be the case if using eMMC. You might consider using the eMMC storage for a recovery disk.
