How to re install Ubuntu on Udoo Bolt V8

Hi all...I have been working with Udoo Bolt v8 since May this year running Ubuntu 18 flawlessly. However due to my project I need to re install Ubuntu 16 and delete Ubuntu 18 . When I plug in my boot-able pendrive with Ubuntu 16 Udoo Bolt shows me this error:


Do I need to delete/overwrite the existing eMMC to be able to re install.If yes, please how to do it

 

I think the older kernel drivers do not see some of the newer components on the Bolt like eMMC.

 

Also as a side note found this just now.

Check if you also have IOMMU on, it could indeed be a problem with the older kernel.
