Hi there I have just bought a x86 but I do not remember which model I had ordered. So, how I can identify the model by looking at the board. Is there any clue or number on the board to help me?
Just by looking you can at least know how much eMMC it has. The eMMC chip is next to the two USB ports and has white 'eMMC' text next to it. For me the actual chip has (among other things) text '-32G' and presumably for 8 GB version it would have '-8G'. If you don't have any eMMC then there is probably just empty space there. Unfortunately that doesn't tell much: No eMMC means non-KickStarter Basic or Advanced 8 GB eMMC means KickStarter Basic, Advanced or Ultra 32 GB eMMC means KickStarter Advanced or Ultra, or non-KickStarter Advanced Plus or Ultra If you can start it then BIOS will tell which CPU you have. Press ESC while UDOO X86 is starting, then select "SCU" in menu. Ultra has "PENTIUM N3710", Advanced and Advanced Plus have "CELERON N3160" and Basic has "ATOM X5-E8000".
I have the box, but it does not mention any especial thing. Is there a way to find out from those numbers on box?
The label at the side of the box with the bar code states with mine the device type . the amount of ram and amount of eMMC.
