Hi. I need to use a usb wifi in the UDOO NEO, and works fine with this interfaces file

but I'm trying configure the interfaces file at the following way

and it does work but the interface only gets an IPV6 address, and I need IPV4 too. This same configuration works as desired on my desktop and Raspberry Pi.

    my question is
is possible to configure wpa_supplicant with manual inet method to connect in IPV4?

Hi, I am also having this problem.
Anyone have the solution for this?

The 'wpa-roam' configuration allows automatic roaming between multiple configured WiFi networks, while 'wpa-conf' just configure the WiFi only once, when the UDOO is booting up.
We need this roaming function, so we can move the UDOO between places and connect the nearest WiFi without having to reboot it.
